When you start Microsoft Word 97 it begins with default settings or preset settings. Some of these include:
Margins all are 1" Page Size 8 1/2" X 11" Font Times New Roman Font Size 10 point Line Spacing single spacing Page Numbering off Edit Mode insert
Justification left Tab Stops every 1/2"
You can easily change these default settings.
